It's in her eyes, the way she cries,
When all of the hope is gone.
Reviewing her futures past life,
The memories linger on.

A stinging thrust into the bust,
Is bleeding her heart dry.
The faults are mine, blades turn to rust,
Perfection's passed us by.

So much has changed, life's rearranged.
How do I fix this now?
It seems that all attempts are vain,
Rain pours, though not from clouds.

With unseen lows, a spectrum glows,
No light beyond the dark.
How does one cure a fatal blow,
When clumsy is the art?

Two souls entwined in thorns and vines,
Each move tears us apart.
The darkness dies when light can shine,
Too late for broken hearts.

Expense the price, my only vice,
A cost from breathe within.
Awakening lions from mice,
Blinds good, this mask of sin.

Forgive me not, I wrote the plot,
A tragic means to end.
As I do rest upon this cot,
I wish your heart to mend.

It seems to me, malignancy,
Could cease in its existence.
If only I could magically,
Erase myself this instant.

"Today seems as good a day as any to begin the rest of my life. Now is the time to continue that which has already begun. To ends unforeseen, the story unravels."

My Fair Maiden.

1 min read
Who's that pretty girl with eyes so blue,
Sending shivers down your spine?
When ever she's looking at you,
Butterflies serpentine.

Rain drops fall, those rainbow tears,
A dance, two hearts entwined.
No clouds in sight, no darkened years,
Two spirits are one; divine.

I love you now, as I love you then,
And each day ever after.
Tomorrow's tomorrow and to weeks end,
In every month thereafter.

Ocean Beauty.

1 min read
I fell in love with the Ocean,
Her beauty beyond compare.
Beneath her waves of golden locks,
Blue eyes that pierced the air.

Her skin was softer than a cloud,
Her smile was luminaire.
Purposeful with God's perfection,
Each grain of sand meant to be there.

Like passing days, tides break away,
The pulse is never ending.
Without you near is my only fear.
A life not worth pretending.

As currents change and drift away,
One thing I know will always stay.
Our love's a fire that never drowns,
At least I hope and pray.

Forever yours, my Ocean,
I will always be.
Like a treasure never opened,
For only you could turn the key.

Once inside, no need to hide,
From this terror haunting me.
No darkness when the light shines bright,
Your love will set me free.

I am sorry for everything, it seems I've come unglued.
I just want to unlock all of life's mysteries, though I know not what I must do.
I try so hard to step outside the only box I've ever known.
I've scraped my knee and burned down bridges,
At least I think that I have grown.

As I look back on what could have been,
What was so clear, is now unseen.
Hidden beneath a blurred impression.
Yesterday's tomorrrows,
Are today's awakened dream; confession.

With dawn's horizon shining bright,
The world continues on in spite.
It is here and now in natures glory,
I turn back the page, to review the story.

For it seems I've missed an important chapter,
On these empty pages, where no words come after.
A tale untold, a mould unfinished,
A light darkened, a hope diminished.

Unveil a path of least resistance,
And break the barrier of this commitment?
It is here and now, I must choose my destiny.
Immortalized by, this valued prize of, written legacy.
